On a Queens Rooftop

The weather has been really enjoyable in New York lately, which led me plan a lovely brunch on my rooftop with my girlfriends.
Since I LOVE cooking, and I've watched pretty much every episode of "Brunch at Bobby's" I was really inspired to make a beautiful and delicious brunch for my girlfriends. Unfortunately the wind was not on our side, so the idea of a pretty white table cloth was out. The idea of good hair was also out.
Hair ended up in a very ugly messy bun. I'm sure I flashed my underwear to my neighbors a few times
Despite the windy obstacles, we had a wonderful time. I made a goat cheese and slow-roasted tomato quiche. I got the recipe from Simply-Delicious blog. I've made this before and it was a hit among my friends. Chantal brought in a baked brie with nuts, apples, and caramel, along with pastries. Sherlly brought a fruit salad, and Maite brought sangria. Yes the sangria ended up in a large flower vase because my pitcher is too small.
